국민연금 해지 Termination of the national pension

Today, I would like to post about how to cancel the national pension.

One day, an acquaintance who is having a hard time living told me that he would like to cancel the national pension and use it, so I looked it up because I was curious.

2019 also marks the 20th anniversary of the realization of the national pension system in Korea

1988. 01. 01 The implementation of the National Pension System (workplaces with 10 or more full-time workers), 2008 marked the 20th anniversary, and the first recipients appeared, and 11 years have passed since then.

However, it is true that there is still a lack of awareness about the necessity of the national pension and the national pension. 국민연금 해지

:: What is the National Pension?
Among various social security systems, the national pension is a representative social insurance system that is operated according to insurance principles. In other words, it is a system that receives a fixed rate of insurance premiums from subscribers and users, and provides various benefits to those who are exposed to social risks and are likely to lose their income or lose their income. Benefits provided through the National Pension System include old-age pension to compensate for loss of earned income due to old age, survivor pension to compensate for income loss due to the death of the main income earner, and income loss due to loss of long-term work ability due to illness or accident. There is a disability pension to compensate for this, and it is a mandatory subscription rather than an option because it has a great meaning to promote the people’s livelihood stability and welfare promotion by providing such benefits.

If so, can I get my money back?

I can’t pay right now and it’s difficult to live right now, but I want to get rid of this money.

In conclusion, it is simply impossible to cancel.

It is possible only when a person who has been insured for less than 10 years turns 60, or for reasons such as death, survivors’ pension, or loss of nationality.

:: Why not?
This is because the national pension is not personal savings or insurance. It is a compulsory duty. Because it is related to social security, it is a system for the effect of income redistribution between generations within a generation.

In other words, the national pension simultaneously includes the function of “income redistribution within households”, in which income is redistributed from the high-income class to the low-income class within the same household, and the function of “income redistribution between generations”, in which future generations support the current elderly generation.

It is because it is a system that contributes to social integration because it is passed on to the next generation as inequality and burden if I think about why I am.

This is because it is impossible to solve the welfare issues for the elderly if they are terminated in the middle one by one.
