Among them, Kakao T Bike provides a service that allows users to check the location of a bicycle using the T app or find a bicycle nearby and ride it through the app, so more and more people are using it whenever they need to move.

Kakao T Bike is a shared service in cooperation with local governments, and you can freely ride on bike-only roads. This electric bicycle is a PAS (Pedal Assist System) system, so when you turn the pedals, the electric motor automatically runs. so anyone can easily experience healthy mobility. 카카오바이크 요금

I can easily see Kakao T Bike around me while walking around the streets. I want to ride a bike for a change of scenery after a long time, or I think it would be faster and more comfortable to ride a bike than walking because the distance I have to travel is quite far, so I got interested in Kakao T Bike. There will be people who have it.

However, those who use it for the first time do not know how to ride it, so they would have wanted to find out how to use it. People who refer to this information will be helpful.

How to use Kakao Bike

Basically, you can use it through the Kakao T app, so if you don’t have the Kakao T app on your phone, you can go to the store app, search for it, install it, launch it, and check the available bikes displayed on the map around you.

When you find a bike you want to ride, move to it and select [Use a bike] at the bottom.

If you look at the bike, you can check the QR code or authentication number attached to it. Enter it into the app to proceed with the authentication process, and if it is completed normally, you will be able to use the bike service freely.

As you ride to your destination like this, you will come to a point where you want to stop riding midway or arrive and end the use. At this time, you can use the smart lock attached to the rear wheel of the bike to safely end the use. , You can emergency shutdown by selecting the siren icon displayed on the app screen)

At this time, you may be wondering where to park, but Kakao T Bike does not have a separate cradle, so after using it, you can park it anywhere you want within the agreed service area. It would be better to use a bike rack if possible.

There are two types of bikes, 20 inches and 24 inches. The 20-inch wheels are in first gear (Apeach, Little Friends), and there is a bell on the right side of the handle, so you can turn it up or down to use it.

The 24-inch wheel has 7 gears (Ryan, Tube, Muji), and there are both gears and bells.

What they both have in common is that they have front and rear lamps and the same basket, so they look similar at first glance, but if you look closely, they will be slightly different, and the maximum speed allowed by legal standards when riding a bicycle is 25 km/h. However, when riding a Kakao T Bike, you can go up to 20km/h for safety, so you should be aware of it.

Kakao Bike fee system

Kakao T Bike also has a fee system. In Songpa-gu, Seoul, Seo-gu, Jeonju, and Ulsan, the basic fee is 200 won and 150 won per minute is added, including the unlocking fee and insurance fee.

In areas other than this, the basic rate is KRW 1,500 for up to 15 minutes, including insurance premium, and KRW 100 per minute thereafter is charged. If you end the service in a place other than the service area, an additional fee of KRW 20,000 is charged. (The fee varies by region, and you can check the price by clicking on the bike in the region.)

Payment methods include Kakao Pay automatic payment, mobile phone micropayment, PayPal (only overseas accounts/cards can be paid), and T-point. While riding a bicycle, sometimes things may break down and make it impossible to ride. Just select Break/Report in the app. (Bike> Exclamation mark (!) at the bottom right> Enter the content and report)

If authentication is not done during the process, you can report it through [Service Inquiry] rather than in-app reporting. You can press the menu of the three-deck line and go to Service Inquiry and enter the information.

This is the end of the post that tells you how to ride a Kakao Bike and a few things to note. Since safety is always the top priority, I think it would be a good idea to prepare a personal helmet whenever possible when riding a bicycle.

In addition, if you have additional questions, you can go to the Kakao Mobility site and select ‘Bike’ from customer support to find out more details.

I hope this post will help you, and it is okay to share or spread it on other channels such as Empathy Heart (♥) or SNS, but if you copy and use the contents and photos without permission, we will take legal action. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you.
