However, there are also disadvantages such as losing your cell phone or suffering from smishing through text messages, and causing overconsumption by using micropayment cash.
Micropayments are basically allowed when opening a mobile phone, and there is a maximum limit of 500,000 won, so if you do not use micropayments at all, it is better to cancel them just in case.
The simplest way to cancel is to call the KT customer center, but it takes a long time to connect with a counselor, so you can block micropayments directly from your smartphone.

After launching the ‘My Katy’ app on your smartphone, touch the menu on the left and go to ‘My Page > Charge Inquiry > Micropayment Details’.
Select limit change
Select ‘Limit details and limit change’ in micropayment details, and then touch the limit change option at the bottom.

Select ‘Block’ under the limit and click the Change button to complete the microtransaction block request.
If you want to change only the micropayment limit, you can change it up to less than 500,000 won.
